Sweet Little Resistance #4: Mona

Mona always knows how people  feel about things. Even if they  they're telling the truth, she can see their real intentions on their faces and in their body language. It's hard for her to make friends when she feels like everyone is being disingenuous all the time. So when she meets a boy who speaks in literary quotes, a person whose face and body language she can't read at all, she thinks he might be perfect for her. Maybe it's fate? Or maybe he's found a way to hide bad intentions...

Exploring themes of friendship, fandom, and gender roles, Sweet Little Resistance is a 6-part series of short comics about magical girls who work in a coffee shop, drawn by a rotating cast of incredible artists, that answers the question: What if manic pixie dream girls were actually magical girls--and what if they didn't like boys all that much?
